You don't necessarily need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy—whatever challenges my clients are facing, I love helping them better understand those challenges and find resources within themselves they didn't know they had to work through them.
I see myself as an active participant in the therapeutic process, not a passive sounding board. Therapy is a collaborative endeavor—even though I don't have all the answers, I love working with my clients and helping them find the strategies to change their lives.

Feedback from real parents:
I have thought about your talk a lot since we met. When I initially told people where I was going - a sex talk for my kids ages 8 and 5 - they looked at me a bit bewildered. Even my husband asked, 'We don't need to think about this yet, do we?!' But I walked away with the realization that it is never too early to talk to your kids about sex; in fact I wished I could turn back time and handle things differently than I had from an early age. Emma very thoughtfully demonstrates how topics I had previously shied away from can and should be teachable moments that will set the tone for our children's approach to sex and sexuality now and in the future. I have since tried to respond to all situations and questions with honesty, aiming to establish a positive foundation that reflects my own personal values and open lines of communication with my children. Emma is an insightful, intelligent, funny, non-judgmental, down-to-earth facilitator of this often sensitive topic and she provides concrete tools that can be used to help safeguard your child and ensure a healthy, safe, and positive relationship to sex.

Emma provies psycho-educational sexual health sessions for parents and pre-teens, to help you talk with your child about sex and sexual health in a way that is honest, educational, supportive and meaningful.

In my practice, I offer parents and their children a safe and comfortable environment to discuss these intimate issues and concerns without judgment or shame.
